Buter Naan Recipe


This is a homemade naan recipe which are prepared on tawa.so I have named it as tawa naan recipe. You can also make coriander and jeera naans like these only you have to add chopped coriander and jeera to this dough.

Ingredients used in butter naan recipe:


Maida-2 cups
Dahi-  ½ cup
Ghee-1tsp.
Salt-1tsp.
Sugar-1tsp.
Baking soda- a pinch
Butter-to brush on naan

Method to be followed in butter naan recipe:


Mix all the above ingredients and knead it well.
Keep it aside for 4-5 hrs.
After this time period the dough will become double.
Heat tawa.
Divide this dough into equal portions and make balls in round shape.
Roll these balls into oval or circular shape.
When tawa becomes hot apply naan to the tawa.
Remember to apply water to one side of naan while you transfer naan to tawa.
Now naan will stick to tawa. When it starts puffing flip tawa and cook naan on other side.
Or you can simply cook these naans like pronthis or simple rotis.
And at end apply butter to naan.
Naan are now ready to eat.




How to serve:

Serve these butter naans with cholle  or any veggie sabzi which you want.

rava idli


Rava idli recipe which is easy and quick to make. Try this and enjoy delicious  and instant rava idlis.

Ingredients for rava idli:

Suji-1 cup
Curd-1 cup
Green chilly-1 chopped
Coriander leaves-1 tbsp. chopped
Eno (fruit salt)-1 packet
Salt


Method to make rava idli:

Mix suji and curd together in a bowl.
Also add green chilly and coriander leaves to it.
Add salt according to taste.
Grease idli stand with oil.
Add eno to it and mix well.
Pour this batter in idli stand.
Steam rava idlis for 20-25 minute.

How to steam the idli:

In a pressur cooker, take 2 glasses of water.
Remove the weight of cooker.
Put idli stand in it and cover the lid.
Steam idli for 25 minutes.




Idli recipe


Idli is an healthy indian breakfast.It is a round fluffy cake which is served in pairs with sambar or coconut chutney.

Ingredients:

Rice-2 cup
Urad dal white-1 cup
Salt-1½ tbsp.
Baking soda-pinch
Oil

Method:

Wash and soak dal overnight.
Wash and drain rice whole night.
Grind dal and rice separately.
Mix rice and dal together to form the batter.
Mix salt, baking soda and set aside for 8-9 hrs. for fermenting.
Pour the mixture in idli stand.
Then steam idlis for 15 minute.

Serve idlis with sambar and coconut chutney.

Salads recipe

A salad recipe using sprouts.I have used sprouted moong dal in this sala recipe so i have named it as Sprouted moong dal salad. It is a colorful and a nutritious dish. Moong dal is good source of protein and calcium. It goes well with cucumbers too. If cucumber is available add it too.

Ingredients:

Sprouted moong dal-1 ½ cup
Tomatoes-2 chopped
Coriander-1tbsp.
Green chilly-1
Lemon juice-2tsp.
Sugar-1tsp.
Cabbage- ¾ chopped
Carrot- ¼ cup grated
Onion-1 chopped
Salt

Method:

How to make moong dal sprouted:

 Soak dal for 10-12 hrs.


  salad recipe:

Steam sprouted dal for 5 minutes.
Add above remaining ingredients in a bowl.
Add dal to the bowl.
Mix well.
Serve it cold.

carrots and green peas salad








A recipe for salad using vegetables.I call this recipe for salad as matar gajar ka salad.It is a vegetarian salad with matar and gajar as its main ingredient. Peas and carrot are the main vegetables of winter season and we all know the nutritious value of carrot so i often follow this recipe for salad

Try this recipe at home and enjoy it.


Ingredients:


Carrot chopped-2 big
Green peas-1 cup
Onion-1
Green chilly-1
Mint leaves-5-6
Salt
Pepper
Lemon juice
Fresh coriander

How to make matar gajar salad:



  • Boil carrot and peas in water for 10 minutes. And cool it.
  • Add all the ingredients and mix well.
  • Serve it cold.


Channa masala


Also known, as cholle masala is a famous Punjabi dish. It is a chickpea dish, which is cooked in spicy tomato gravy. It is best served with chapatis or pooris.

Ingredients:


Vegetable oil-1tbsp.
Onion-2 medium
Garlic-1
Ground coriander-1tbsp.
Ground cumin-2 tsp.
Ground pepper- ½ tsp.
Turmeric powder-1tsp.
Chopped tomatoes-6tbsp.
Water-1cup
Channe boiled-4 cups
Ground roasted cumin seeds-2tsp.
Amchoor powder-1tbsp.
Garam masala-1tsp.
Salt- ½tsp.
Lemon - ½ juiced
Green chilly-1 fresh
Ginger grated-2tsp. fresh

How to boil channe: 

Soak channe overnight in enough water at least one inch above the level of channe. For better color you can also add a tea bag during boiling it Next day pressure-cook them for 5-6 whistles.


How to make channa masala:

Heat oil in a pan.
Add onions and garlic. Sauté it on medium heat.
Add coriander, cumin, turmeric and pepper.
Stir for few seconds.
Add tomatoes. Cook until done.
Add channe and water to it.
Add roasted cumin, amchoor powder, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice.
Now cook it covered for 10 min.
At last add green chilly and ginger.
Stir again and cook again for a minute.

Malai Kofta recipe


I got this malai kofta recipe from one of my friend. It is one of my favourite paneer food recipe.Malai kofta is a special and delicious recipe for any occasion. Aloo and paneer koftas are dipped in a creamy sauce of onions and tomato base gravy.There are various methods to make malai kofta. Learn how to make malai kofta by following my malai kofta recipe.


Ingredients used for malai kofta:

For koftas-

Paneer-200 gm.
potatoes-2 boiled
Suji-6 spoon
Maida-3 spoon
Green chilly chopped-2

For gravy-

Cumin seeds
Onions-4 diced
Tomatoes-4 (puree)
Garam masala-1 tsp.
Salt
Red chilly powder
Ginger-1 inch
Garlic-8 to10
Oil- for frying
Cream- ½ cup
Milk- ½ cup


Malai kofta recipe:


  • Grate potato and paneer in a bowl.
  • Add green chilies, suji, maida and salt to it.
  • Prepare dough of it by kneading it well.
  • Make small balls of this dough.
  • Fry these balls in oil at medium flame till goldem brown.
  • Koftas are ready now. It’s the time for gravy now.
  • In a pan add 1 tbsp. oil add onions diced, ginger and garlic. 
  • Sauté these onions till golden brown on a medium flame.
  • When done allow it to cool and after that grind it in a mixer.
  • In a separate pan add 1 tbsp. oil. Heat it.
  • Add cumin seeds to it.  
  • Now add onion paste to it. And fry it till the oil comes up.
  • When oil comes up add tomato puree to it. Again cook for 2 minute.
  • Now add cream to this gravy and stir continuously.
  • Also add milk after 2 to 3 minute.
  • Add the species now. Salt, red chilly powder and garam masala to it according to your taste.
  • Also add half glass of water to this gravy and allow it to boil.
  • When gravy boils add koftas and simmer the gas for 5 minute.
  • Lastly add fresh coriander leaves chopped to it and serve it hot.
